Mechanical Engg.

      This department offers three years diploma in Mechanical Engg. & Production Engg. The department has been fully equipped with modernised laboratories having latest equipments such as:  

1.         Refrigeration & Air Conditioning having models of Cold Storage,Ice Plant,Refrigeration Compression Equipments etc.

2.         Metrology Lab in which 3-D cordinate measuring machine and profile projector has been installed.

3.         Fluid Mechanics Lab is equipped with Hydraulic Bench on which all the experiments can be performed.

4.         Strength of Material Lab is equipped with Universal Testing Machine, Torsion Testing Machine etc.

5.         Material Science Lab is equipped with Metrological Microscope etc.

6.         Thermal Engg. Lab is equipped with Nestler Boiler (140 lbs/m² pressure), Two nos. Mercet Boilers (100 lbs lbs/m² pressure), Steam Engines and other Engines.

7.         Auto Lab is equipped with one cylinder, two cylinder and four cylinder diesel engine, petrol engine testing rings.
